This recipe works like a charm and is so simple. This is all that you need:
Ingredients:
Crumb topping:
- 1/2 cup of flour
- 1/2 cup of old-fashioned oats
- 1/2 cup of brown sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon of baking powder
- 1/4 teaspoon of ground cinnamon
- Dash of salt
- 1/3 cup of unsalted butter, cut into small pieces
Apple filling:
- 3-4 large Granny Smith apples, peeled and thinly sliced
- 3 tablespoons of butter, melted
- 2 tablespoon of flour
- 1 tablespoon of lemon juice
- 3 tablespoons of milk
- 1/2 teaspoon of vanilla extract
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon of ground cinnamon
- Dash of salt
